Making It through College With VCE Software From Avanset
Starting college is a huge milestone in the lives of many. Yet, as exciting as this change is, switching curriculums and learning approaches may be hard for many freshmen, creating challenges throughout all their college years (we'll turn a blind eye on other challenges like study-party balance and notorious freshman 15 – let's just talk coursework and exams here!). Avanset helps college students nail their studies with its popular VCE software and file format that turns any text file into a dynamic and efficient training.
Never heard of VCE?
VCE stands for Virtual Certification Exam and is a file format of Visual CertExam Software. VCE is the most popular tool for creating, opening and practicing tests and exams online.
Developed and marketed by Avanset, VCE Software provides users with fully interactive tests where they can answer exam questions, thus testing their skills. This interactive and dynamic approach has a number of advantages compared to using regular lists of questions. With VCE Software, any PDF or a text file with dozens of questions too boring to get through can be turned into an interactive practice exam. This is a great learning tool, as it helps students test their knowledge before the exam, and remember the things they get wrong during this practice (VCE tests let you go back to the questions you got wrong).
What Are The Features?
VCE software supports a wide range of question types, allowing for maximum flexibility of an interactive practice test: multiple choice questions, fill in the blank questions, select and place / drag-n-drop questions, point and shoot questions (picking a point on the image), hot area questions (picking an area out of the few options given), create a tree of questions, build list and reorder, drop and connect questions. Therefore, it can accommodate the needs of any exam preparation.
VCE Exam Simulator allows users to import questions from various file formats, including txt, rtf, PDF. So, basically, any text file with questions and answers can be turned into an interactive exam. VCE files can also have images embedded in questions or answers, which means that the software can accommodate the needs for a number of subjects and college courses.
The software gives the option of saving the current testing session and coming back to it later. You can also review the testing history; go back to the questions that hadn't been answered correctly and more. Moreover, VCE Software supports all non-Latin characters, so it can be easily used by non-English speakers in their native language, as well as for preparation for foreign language exams, be it Russian, Chinese, Arabic, or any other language that uses 'special characters'.
VCE software is available in 2 options to best meet students' individual needs. The first option, VCE Exam Simulator BASIC allows users to play Avanset files in a simulated testing environment. However, the BASIC version does not let users create and edit their own VCE exams. Users who plan to create VCE files from scratch should opt for VCE Exam Simulator PRO. As an advanced version of the software, VCE Exam Simulator PRO enables users to create and edit their VCEs. Both versions of the software are available for PC and Mac computers, with mobile options for iOS and Android for those who choose to study on the go.
Using VCE Software in College
College courses are known for their complexity and the large amount of information they cover, which can be overwhelming to students, especially in their freshman year. Moreover, some students may find their level of knowledge insufficient for keeping up with a course. Avanset helps college students learn more in less time, practice on the go (with mobile versions of the VCE software available), practice for quizzes and final exams, and maximize their learning potential, leading to higher GPAs and better prospects.
